Jaime Arguello

Chief Investment Officer
As Architas’ Chief Investment Officer, Jaime is responsible for directing all aspects of the company’s investment activity, including responsibility for the structure and control of the investment function. In that capacity, Jaime is the Functional Head of Investments across Architas locations. Jaime’s role also includes the recommendation of appropriate investment strategies to other areas of the AXA business.

Jaime joined Architas in October 2016 from Barclays where he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for their multi-manager and alternatives business, a role he held for seven years. Prior to Barclays, Jaime spent 10 years at Pictet first as Head of Fixed Income Asset Management then as Director of third party manager selection. He has over 30 years of industry experience covering the full range of asset allocation, fund selection and portfolio management.

Jaime holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris.
